Beware the Hair!

I was sitting outside holding Mariele and watching Lee work. I was playing with her little perfect toes when I noticed HAIR (my hair to be exact) wrapped around her big toe and her middle toe on her right foot. This hair was wrapped so tightly that it was literally cutting into those two toes (maybe explaining her unexplained screaming episode earlier). I freed her sweet little toes from the hair and now she has red rings around both of those toes. I had read about this scenario somewhere on Babycenter, but I thought it was just a freak thing that would most likely not happen to MY baby. So those of you out there with newborns (and hair), be sure to check those toes and fingers when they are "colicky". It CAN happen, bizarre as it sounds. Especially if you are having that crazy post-partum hormonal hair shedding.

Analese the Dancer!

Analese starts her dance class at The Little Gym tomorrow! She is so excited! We went out to two different stores this morning to get the ballet slippers, tap shoes and dance outfit. Here she is modeling them:

After Analese's nap . . .

I found her like this:

Then she had to burp her baby:

And Mariele got her arm out of the swaddle during her nap:

Went back to the Blue Bonnets . . .

But Analese was in this kind of mood:

So we did not try hard to get more pics. Got these:

Analese preferred to climb the rocks and play on the playground:

It was just a little too close to lunch time and nap time for Analese to be all that happy. Plus, I guess it was just more fun with her buddies there!

More Blue Bonnets!

Here are a few that Yng Yng took with her camera that I thought stood out because they were taken from slightly different angles and some are closer up etc.

The Blue Bonnets!

The girls and I got out with our friends today to see the Blue Bonnets in all their full bloom glory! Here are some pics. Analese with her best little buddy Anita (Tee-ta). Why won't kids this age just smile for the camera?

Me and my baby:
