AGHHHHH!! WHAT?????

I can't believe that Mariele is getting a tooth already! I was just holding her and she put my finger in her mouth and sure enough one of the bottom central incisors is coming through! I did not expect this at all because Analese did not get her first tooth until after she turned 11 months old! AGHHHH! Slow down child!

Great 4th of July Weekend!

The thing I will most remember about this year's 4th of July will be the great food! My friend Yng Yng's family is in town visiting this weekend. Her cousin's family treated everyone to a wonderful traditional Chinese dim sum meal yesterday at lunchtime. It all tasted fabulous and I could not BELIEVE how much food was on the table. It was a very large round table with one of those lazy susans to hold all the food. We got to take home some of the sweet dim sum. I especially like the sesame balls filled with red bean paste. I know it sounds a little strange, but it is so delicious!

Last night we all watched the fireworks from the Target parking lot. It was a pretty good place to view them.




Today we met Yng Yng and all of her family at the Cheesecake Factory (which is one of my favorite restaurants). It was delicious too, as always. We sat out on the patio and Analese enjoyed sharing mac and cheese with Tee-ta and playing with all the kids.

This morning I measured Analese and determined she has grown an inch and a half since she turned 3 two months ago. So I was able to put a photo on her growth chart to mark her growth. Here is my 39 incher! The adult height prediction calculator says she will grow to be 5'5 (2 inches taller than me). Lee thinks she will be even taller than that. We'll see!
