Show Day at The Little Gym...

As promised, I will post the rest of the pictures. I will not attempt to caption each individual photo. The pics speak for themselves. I was in charge of video. Lee was in charge of stills. He got some great action shots. Both girls performed excellently.

Big Week...

First of all, we FINISHED FIRST GRADE on Wednesday!! We celebrated today by getting pedicures - all three of us. This homeschool business is a group effort, and Mariele deserved some credit for being good while I did school with Analese all year. Plus, she has started pre-K and will continue pre-K when we start up with Analese's second grade after our break. Mariele LOVED getting a pedicure. She is only about 32 years younger than I was when I got MY first pedicure. I'm not sure getting hooked on this level of pampering at such a young age is a good thing...

Today was their end of year showcase at The Little Gym. Here are my dancers before we left home.

May is one busy month!

In addition to birthdays and Mother's Day, Analese had her Adventurers Investiture program last Saturday night. It is a graduation ceremony. She graduated from her Eager Beavers class into the Busy Bees class. She was presented with all of her badges and patches for her sash. She had worked hard all year to earn these honors. We are very proud of her. Next year instead of having an empty sash, she will be quite decorated.

One of her special birthday gifts came from my dear friend Yng Yng, who is a talented seamstress. She sewed the beautiful sparkly pink dress for Analese, and the cute little patterned dress for Mariele.

Happy Birthday to my Mammaw!

She is 93 years old today. She came to visit for Analese's birthday and we got a four generation photo. She is a wonderful lady, and we all love her so much.
