A good morning turned bad : (
So even though I have been so exhausted to the point of collapse, I woke up this morning with a newfound surge of energy. I was going to take Analese to the mall to shop for a birthday gift for her little friend Anita who is 4 months older than her. We were all ready to go. We both looked cute and everything. I was going to put her in the car and I thought to myself, something is not right here. Why is my glove compartment open? Why is the center console of my car open? OK - why is my Garmin Nuvi and my ipod gone??? Yes, sometime in the overnight or early morning hours somebody took $600 of stuff out of my car as it was parked in my driveway. The sad thing is, I ALWAYS lock the car. Yesterday when Analese and I got home from Little Gym, Lee came out to vacuum up some goldfish crackers that she had spilled in the car. This morning he confirmed that he did not lock the car when he finished vacuuming. So the ONE night that we leave the car unlocked we have a theft. I know it could be worse. The whole car could be gone, which is what happened to my brother-in-law a year ago or so when he was living in San Antonio. So Analese and I spent about an hour and a half waiting for the officer from the Sheriff's office. I filed the report with him. Interesting he had just come from another home in my neighborhood. A wallet was stolen from another car last night. Seems these thieves just go around checking for unlocked vehicles. And they got a huge payday from my unlocked vehicle last night. I feel so creepy and violated right now. I'm just trying to count my blessings. Our family was safe. Our home was not broken into. It is just STUFF, and I will try not to be mad at Lee for leaving my car unlocked. (Although I may ask to use HIS Garmin Nuvi now). So now it is almost 1:00. Analese just ate lunch. She needs a nap before we go to another Chuck E Cheese party. And we still have not gone to the mall. And that energy I felt earlier? All gone gone bye bye.

Lethargic......
I feel so tired and lazy. All I want to do is sleep for hours on end, but I can't even do that because I have to pee every 30 minutes. I need to go to Wal-Mart, but just the thought of going makes me want to collapse. Analese is out of the little mandarin orange fruit cups that she likes so much, especially during her recovery from this illness. I will have to at least go down the street to Kroger later and pick up some for her. She still coughs quite a lot at times. I did take her to The Little Gym this morning. She did really well. The class was mostly about listening and following the teacher's instructions. She loves her teacher, Miss Allison. In fact, when we got there this morning she said, "There is my Miss Allison." SMILE! I could tell she was a little more tired than usual. The class was not that physical today which was good because she was slightly off her physical game. But she stuck very closely to Miss Allison (we parents watched from across the room) and did everything Miss Allison said to do. Next week is show week. That means I get to take my new camera and get cute pics and video! And there will be an awards ceremony where all of the kids get a ribbon. Well, I'm off to lie down on my left side and read a bit. Maybe even close my eyes for 20 minutes before I need to get up and pee.

Out with the old camera, in with the new...............
These were taken with the old camera:

And these were taken with the new!

Analese stayed in her nightgown all day since she is still trying to get well. I can't wait for us to actually FIX UP and take some pics!
I wish I could share the high-def video on this blog. But the 37 second movie we took today was about 156 MB, so I will have to resize video before I post it here. But it is awesomely clear high-def. video!

Trying to get her well.........
She is still coughing and also has a runny nose today. Although I think she is feeling better. She took too short a nap. I asked her if she wants mommy to lay down with her and she said, "No mommy, I NOT want to go in my room right now. I want to go to the Little Gym right now!" Maybe tomorrow if she is better. We did not go to lunch with our friends today because I did not want to infect their 4 month old baby. But if we had gone to lunch I would have missed the delivery of my birthday/Christmas and all gift giving occasions for 2009 present! It is the updated version of my camera! It also takes high definition video clips, which will make a neat c-section movie of Mariele's birth! For some reason blogger is not wanting to upload pics right now or I would post a pic of my new camera taken with my old camera! Maybe later.

Daily dose of cuteness!
Well, I kind of borrowed that post title from Kaycee's blog. But it is probably appropriate because the cute head band on Analese's head came from her Prissy Miss boutique. I ordered Analese a new bow wardrobe because she now officially has too much hair to hold the old bows that came from the Bitty Bows Boutique. It took her 2.5 years to grow this hair! Her old bow wardrobe will go to Mariele. If Mariele exhibits the same hair growth pattern, she may have enough of a twig of hair on top by the time she is 7 months old or so to wear the bitty bows. I just love having girls! So much fun to dress and accessorize them!
In this picture she is playing with puzzles sent by my friend Carrie.

Here are a couple more cute ones. Again, I wish I could teach her to smile NATURALLY for the camera!

Update on her sickness: She still coughs like a barking seal today. I slept in her bed with her last night so we could sleep "in the cloud" as she calls it (the cool mist humidifier). She seems to feel better. No fever this illness, but it is viral. Hopefully will be gone in a day or two.

The 37 week OB visit blah blah blah.............
Yeah, I guess I'm getting tired of them. Today she swabbed me for Group-B strep. While there, she checked my cervix. It is very low and very soft but closed. Blood pressure is still great. I've gained 23 pounds total. When she was feeling of the baby, she asked me how much Analese weighed. I told her 7 pounds 2 ounces. She says this baby will be smaller. I'm like WHAT?? I don't really think so. She says it feels like the baby is 5-5.5 pounds now and she does not think the baby will reach the 7 pound mark. But then she says she could be off and sometimes the mother's perception is right. My perception is that I am bigger this time. I have already gained more weight total than with Analese (and I have 2 weeks to go). And it just feels to me like my torso is FULL of baby! I mean, when she moves sometimes I wonder if she is going to perforate my abdomen! So my guess is that she will be higher up in the 7 pound range than Analese was. My mom had a similar thing happen toward the end of her pregnancy with me. The doc told her he thought they had miscalculated her due date because I was too small. And lo and behold I was born right on my originally calculated due date weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces. I think it is just hard to judge weight from palpation like they try to do. Anyway, only 1 more OB visit to go, then we are having this baby!
